J&B Earns Title I Academic Achievement Award
There are over 9,000 Elementary schools in the state of California. Of these, more than 6,000 school are considered Title I schools. Title I sites receive federal funds to help meet the educational needs of students living near or at the poverty level. Out of these sites, only 210 schools in the state have earned the right to receive the Title I Academic Achievement Award.
Judson & Brown is officially one of these sites! Qualifying for this distinction means that Judson & Brown has demonstrated that all students are making significant progress toward proficiency on California's academic content standards. Additionally, the school's socioeconomically disadvantaged students have doubled the achievement targets set for them for two consecutive years!

As part of this award, Jusdon & Brown will be honored at a reception and banquet at the Disneyland Hotel on May 20, 2011.
